Compatibility

The PCs and iPads EternalMonitor runs on, and the results measured on each, with the conditions and the record behind every number.

What it needs

  • A 64-bit PC with Windows 10 version 1809 or later, or Windows 11.
  • NVIDIA, AMD or Intel graphics. Supported cards encode the video with NVENC, AMF or Quick Sync, in H.264 or HEVC.
  • An iPad with iPadOS 17 or later.
  • For Wi-Fi, the PC and the iPad on the same network. Guest networks usually keep devices apart.
  • For USB, a cable that carries data and Apple's free Apple Devices app, open on the PC. Apple Devices needs Windows 10 version 22H2 (build 19045) or Windows 11.
  • For pressure, Apple Pencil (1st or 2nd generation) or Apple Pencil Pro.
